Grappino, the latest addition to the Aielli restaurant group, opened in December 2019. Rooted in tradition, Grappino pairs simple Italian comfort food inspired by chef/owner Fabrizio Aielli's Venetian roots with a showcase of over 100 Grappa varieties making it one of the largest Grappa bars in the country.
The menu offers a variety of options from charcuterie, salads, bruschette, risotti and fritture as well as various shapes of pasta and different sauces for diners to make their own pasta-sauce combinations. Grappino also features Roman-style pan pizza, which is 80% hydration encompassing 24-hour cold-aged dough designed to be lighter, crispier & easier for digestion.
The restaurant was originally designed by the award-winning Suzanne Costa Interiors. The Aielli’s added a fun touch of Venice to the unique Naples Cottage design. The walls and ceilings showcase vibrant Murano glass balloons handcrafted by Venice based artist Fabiano Amadi.
